    Re: Boots? White's for field use. Heavy and take forever to break in, but nothing better on the hill. El Cheapo Big5 side-zipper boots for station wear / everything else. They polish up enough. I call them 'disposable boots'. At $30 for 6 months wear I'm OK with that.
