Sept 6 started the Primal Blueprint/Paleo

So primal blueprint is a lot like paleo, only a little more lax in some respects. For example it allows some liquor (rarely), dairy (moderation), and low glycemic starch like sweet potatoes (moderation), basically just enough not to go crazy. Started Sept. 6 at 268. Just tipped scales at 250...

    Plant based eating...

Has anyone made a switch over to a plant based diet lifestyle ala Forks over Knives/Engine 2? How do you feel? Would you recommend? I know I could stand to mix in a few more salads, but this method seems like a hard line.

    7.62x54 in a modern rifle

A friend of mine is interested in a modern rifle that runs 7.62x54, I suppose because it's cheap. I did a quick check and didn't see anything new. I read rumors of a new Russian rifle or a CZ available in Europe, but nothing in the states. Would this end up being a custom build? I told him...

    NFL...rate your team's draft.

As a Dolphins fan I was on the fence with this draft. The GM has been hit and miss, new coaching staff, new philosophy, same old front office. Whether or not you like Tannehill he's in the best spot to succeed. Lots of other sneaky picks that may pay off big, Lamar Miller in the 4th (with 1st...

    Movie Theater Lockout

Fun flick, lots of chuckles, Guy Pearce has the deadpan smartass character down pat. Action was solid, some CGI was a bit heavy handed, plot was predictable but acceptable. It won't win any awards but the GF and I had a fun time. Worth a rental.

    PACE training

I was reading another forum (blasphemy, I know) and someone mentioned the PACE program by Dr Sears. Sort of a modified HIIT. Does anyone have any experience or input on this?

    Movie Theater Unknown

Not a bad flick, definitely no Taken. A bit predictable, very good chase scenes, reasonable twist, all in all I'd say it's matinee material.

    Suppressors sig sight drift tool.

Am I reading Sigs site right? $200+ for the sight drift tool? Should I resign myself to the cost or is there another option?

    Anyone had a torn meniscus?

I'm scheduled for a consult to have surgery to repair a torn meniscus in the left knee. After some reading I'm concerned about lateral stability. I read that the meniscus helps keep the femur situated over the tibia so it doesn't slide off. Anyone with any insight as to how things come out and...

    Suppressors Chiappa Rhino

Very interesting ideas in this revolver. I'd love to see one in the flesh. What I've read says the trigger is heavy (15lbs?) but it points well, groups well, and recoils light. Anyone familiar? http://chiappafirearms.com/products/75

    Suppressors Quick suppressor question, noobish...

I was watching some of the videos using a surpressed 22 with CCI minimags. I'm wondering why not use a subsonic round? Is it just to compare volumes?

I can't wait, trip to the orthopedist

So I dinged up my knee a few weeks ago and it just isn't getting better. So off to the Dr today, and an orthopedist hopefully this coming week. MRI on tap I'm sure. Maybe I get to be cut open. Woo hoo... Treat your body right is all I'm saying.

    Suppressors Revolver fans? S&W content

While I certainly appreciate a nice semi, I love a good revolver. I have a few but am mulling over adding a S&W 627 to the mix. Anyone have one or an opinion at least?
