Needing advise on 5.45x39 AR15 buffer

I've never had a problem with standard springs. I've installed orange springs, but right now I'm running a Geissele SD3G. So far no FTFs with 7N6. BTW, I get the same accuracy out of 7N6 and Hornady. Wolf is terrible, though.

Needing advise on 5.45x39 AR15 buffer

I've run CAR buffers and springs with no problems. The one I have left is running a Colt carbine spring and an Enidine buffer, no problems there either. Mine have all been S&W uppers, and one Model 1 sales. I don't know about Adams Arms, but I don't know why a standard setup wouldn't work...

SEI’s lawsuit against me – Updates and Court Filings Here

You really need to read the docs. It's not like reading legalese, it's more like watching "Earnest goes to Lawschool".

New GAP-10 Rail design. prototype's in!

My 18" with an A2 stock weighs over 14 pounds with a 28oz scope, bipod, and loaded mag. I'm betting a 20" with a PRS will weigh 15 pounds plus fully loaded. ETA: I was quoted a MUCH lighter weight when I asked.

New GAP-10 Rail design. prototype's in!

Hogan makes (made) two different rails. That one has the full rail rather than the "hunter" rail. I could have speced mine like that, I would guess it was built that way per customer order. Also, supposedly the rails were the holdup earlier this year, if it came out then maybe they built it...

Suppressors help with a 22mag can

The Cascade is a sealed unit. To clean it you have to send it back to TacSol. I bought mine from a local guy here in Houston. A different local guy put 30,000+ rounds of 22lr through one with no ill effects, at least none that I could hear, that's what sold me. I have around 4-5k through...

Suppressors help with a 22mag can

The Tac Sol Cascade TI is 22 mag rated and quiet. Like others have said, you're going to get the crack either way, but the Cascade doesn't have the FRP of the Sparrow.

    18" GAP10 suppressor question

Ordered 12/19/2012, arrived 9/6/13. No pics yet, but I'll post some once I get the scope mounted.

    18" GAP10 suppressor question

GAP will drill out the "suppressed" hole on the switchblock to deliver the proper amount of gas for your rifle/suppressor combo. I just received my 18" GAP 10 w/ 18" bbl and switchblock, but I haven't yet shot it. BTW, last thing before your rifle is finished, you'll have to send your...

    Single Stage Triggers

Giessele Super 3 Gun or Super Dynamic 3 Gun. I'm running a SD3G in my 5.45 blaster/hog/truck gun right now, and it is faster and has a better reset than anything I have tried. I can roll 3+ rounds almost as fast as full auto. On the downside, the trigger is not as crisp as it could be, but it...

    Suppressors Suppressor blowback

Are you wearing glasses? Blowback is part of shooting suppressed, there are ways to minimize it, but it's always there to some extent. If your girlfriend is really susceptible to it, you might try a full face shield like folks who run grinders or weedeaters use. I have one for the shop, but...

    Scoping an LBR M25

Yes, but you don't gain that much, esp. with an M25. I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's less than a half inch until you run into the sight bosses on the receiver.

    5.45x39

I agree it depends on you. I stocked several thousand rounds when it was below 10c/round delivered. At the time I was shooting it through various AK74s. Then I built a couple of ARs, now the AKs never see the light of day. My Smith and Wesson is super accurate for what it is, around 1.25-1.5...

    Scoping an LBR M25

What Kiba said. It's easy to clear the rear sight, but impossible to get a proper cheek weld without a high adjustable cheekpiece, either built into a new stock or attached to a USGI style stock. Even with a strap on pack/pad, you're going to end up with a chin weld.

New GAP-10 Rail design. prototype's in!

I vote #3. I'm also a fan of a 20 MOA cant and I LOVE the sling swivel sockets. Is there any way to estimate the weight of the new rail, or if it will be heavier or lighter than the old one? I'm guessing heavier because it has less holes?

Do we know what the difference in weight will be between old and new?
