Hi, I've got the gold medal match reloading dies for my 308 and have the 330-336 bushings. I'd like to know how the case mouth tension on the bullet affects the physics of the shot. i.e. burn rate/pressure etc.

Re: Standard primers versus match and BR prmers I actually shoot better with the cci 7.62 military primery then the cci bench rest primers using my .308 it goes from moa to sub moa. br2 at 300 yrds is moa w/ 3" groups 7.62 military primers @ 300 yrds is about 1-2" groups.

Re: Trail Boss Corrosive? I found the rust along the walls of the bolt area and on the back of the bolt shaft near the knob. It was just a light rust but nonetheless it was there. I just hope that my bore wasn't effected. I shot one or two rounds and didn't clean it for a weak or so.

Re: Powder for 178 amax in 308. Wow that's a lot of powder. imr 4064 45.7gr... that's a compressed load. What length and twist barrel are you shooting with. I have a 24" 1in10" twist rate and am shooting 43.0gr imr4064 and am getting 2650+/- fps.
