Also my first season of big game hunting. I've been all dove and targets for about 20 years. Both were shot with 175 Bergers. 80lb pig taken @ 80yds. 100lb doe taken @ 135yds.

Some of you with 56+mm objectives on your scopes may have had the same problems I have had: Finding a 1 piece mount that is just the right height to clear a large objective with a full length upper rail and that has at least 20MOA cant. The NF unimount maxes out at 1.375" so it's not tall...

Upgraded from a NXS 5.5-22x50 non-zero stop NP-R2 to a 5.5-22x56 high speed zero stop NP-R1 in a Larue SBR-S VFZ mount. Will be re-zeroing and giving a formal range report shooting 100-1000 yards after this weekend. I had a taste the weekend before last and put 7 shots on an 18" gong at 750yds...

Anybody know of a good mount to affix an Aimpoint T1 or Fast Fire on a 30mm scope? I'm aware of the Larue FF mount, but it requires their scope mount, and I already have a Nightforce unimount. I'm aware of some offset 45 degree rail mounts, but I'd prefer to keep the sight parallel to the scope...

I'll be purchasing a POF P308 rifle in the near future, and it has a full length rail for optics mounting. Any idea what size rings I'll need to clear the rail with a Nightforce 5.5-22X50 NXS? I know the medium NF rings I have right now are too short.

As soon as I get my hands one one, this will be my latest project. I'm thinking 20" Bartlein barrel, FTE brake and some good glass. I'm wondering if they will have any AR-10 trigger interchangeability, anyone know any more about them?
