not sure if in right forum but i have some ar400 plates i want to shoot at. now how far away would you recomend to be to shoot with .223 .308 .338 ? i have never done this before so not looking to get hurt.

ok i have .308 win that i like i want a new rifle that is capable of 1500 yards at that distance i would be shooting 1 or 2 times a year i am memeber at gun range that has 1000 yard range so it would get used up to 1000 yards a lot. i have been thinking of 338 lapua magnum, 338 edge or 375...
