Im selling a SWFA SS 10X HD in the exchange for $525. That gets you HD glass, a BIG step up from the standard scope. The HD retails for $800 bucks new.
The MK4 is a very solid and dependable scope. Just because new whiz-bang stuff comes down the pike, dont mean stuff that worked great is suddenly obsolete
I chose a leupold mk4 1.5-5 for my .308 AR. At the ranges, under the conditions I will be using it, it is perfect.
I built a light Battle Rifle, 9 Lbs. So weight was a BIG consideration.
I am thinking about selling my HD. It is the older one with the Mil Dot Reticle.
If I decide to sell it, I would take $500 for it. great condition. -Joe
is anybody using 168 FGMM with their 16" .308 AR? I need to get an average MV to get some idea of drops before I go out.
I really need to get a chrono, but I dont reload, so Please Help!-
I just picked one up, and so far am very impressed. great fit and finish, I did barrel break-in over the last 2 days, will be shooting for groups next week. Very well balanced gun, lightweight, no malfunction to report.
Guys, I have a 40x trigger for sale in the accessories for sale area, if you are building a M24 clone, this is as close as you're gonna get to an M24 trigger.
I wound up making my own zero stops for my HD's. (Machinist) Simple math, and a lathe... made mine out of aluminum, though. work great, and I can see absolutely no reason why, with normal (Non Monkey) usage, they will damage the scope.
you can damage ANY scope by cranking down on the turrets at the bottom of travel. Sounds like bullshit to me. If SWFA suddenly comes out with their own zero stops, we will know why.....
