Re: most accurate barrel for a 10-22? and build advice I went with all Kidd except 10/22 receiver I polished. Receiver and ~ 1" barrel are bedded.

Re: Wolf Match= so so. What to try next? Those a very good groups IMHO. If you're outdoors in Tenn ammo temp. may have a little something to do with it. My 10/22 likes SK Std.+ best.

Re: 10/22 build Yes, Kidd 18" barrel. It (I) really like the SK Std.+ so with those at 100 its 12" or so drop. Accurate, but any wind really moves it. I'll try to get some 100 group pics.

Re: 10/22 build Thanks. Groups are close at ~ 35 yds. A threaded receiver would probably be better if you're starting from scratch.

Long time lurker here. Just wanted to share my 10/22 build. Aftermarket everything except receiver. Kidd trigger, barrel, and bolt. I polished the receiver, made a SS pillar, opened up the stock a bit and bedded receiver and ~ 3" of barrel. Mueller scope. Cheap and fun to shoot!
