Sons of Liberty put out that they’re making 5.56 and grendel/arc bolts out of aermet 100 now. I’m excited at the thought of 88 and 90’s at ~2800+. I wonder if better bolts will enable pushing closer to bolt gun loads or will the extensions start failing?

Should work fine. He did a 16” switchblock 308 for me a while back. AFAIK noveske still uses armalite pattern bolts so you’ll need one of those to get it to headspace right. I’ve used an armalite bolt in LMT carrier(with Noveske barrels) without issue for many rounds.
