Re: 6.5 WSM Barrel burners? I don't know yet but I have built a 22-243AI 6-06 AI 6mm-350 rem mag and my 220 swift shooting a 40 grain at 4463 FPS. They are all a lot of fun to shoot anyway.

I just today put my 6.5 wsm barrel on my savage 110. I am loading 65.0 grains of N160 with 85 grain seirra HP. No signs of high pressure. I don't know what valocity I am geting but it is very accurate. The barrel is stainless 22" long.

Re: 6.5-270 wsm?? Try the 6.5 rem mag it is also a very good round. It will do a 140 gr at 3240 fps. the 6.5-284 does a 140 at 3151 fps

Re: Ruger M77 243 Target Rifle I know this is an old thread but I have 5 ruger mk11 220 swift, 243 win, 25-06, 308, 300 win maq all of them have had nothing changed from factory stock right out of the box. all of them are tac drivers except the 300 mag it is a bad one.

Re: no love for the quarter bores I shot nothing but my 25-06 AI for 25 years. it is hard to beat the 87 gr at 3920 fps for varmits and the 100 grain for deer.
