Elk Hunting Rifles, What are you Using?

I had LRI put an FN SPR in a flattop Manners T3, no issues at all... Maybe wasn't the most econical thing I could've done, but the heart wants what it wants.

Yeah to @powdahound76's point, any chance you could just go with a thinner butt pad or are you looking to chop like 3"?

Curious about carrying a handgun in your life & don't know where to start... try here-

About the same as a revolver with exposed hammer in double-action... I think my little J-frame trigger pull is probably like 8-10 lbs, I haven't done anything to attempt to lighten it up, I'm sure a guy could if he were so inclined.

Run-N-Gun [Centerfire Biathlon] kit - What do you run?

Having shot my Gen 2 Razor 1-6x out to 800 yards (not very successfully I might add), I'd go with the 16", the Viper & the extra weight.

    Apparently my google-fu is sub-par

MDT does... Not suggesting they're the only ones, they may have other models besides this one too, they have a ton of sku's: https://mdttac.com/us/acc-chassis-system Edit: Well it said 'left hand available', but the link goes to a short action... I'd call them.

They didn't make it FOR the AT, per se... They made it for the other 200 rifles that use that same mag.

I tried something on a polymer grip, magwell

Kinda sucks that there's really no good way you can practice this outside of going all-out on your own pistol the first time... Solid effort, methinks!

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

    Easy enough, thanks @stello1001!

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Anybody know if you can still buy action screws anywhere (specifically the rear one)? LRI sells screws that certainly look the same in 1/4-28, but my screws sure don't seem to screw into anything that's 1/4-28... To be fair, I haven't contacted LRI yet either. MGW has a bunch of screws for the...

Pretty sure the 10/22 I had when I was like 8 years old fed fine with a sweet 30 round mag, it also had this totally awesome Ramline folding stock I think... C'mon Mike, that was like 35 years ago, get with it! 😂🍻

I think a shout out to AI would be in order too for taking such good care of their customers... I was guessing Q2 2032 so they came in WAY under schedule! In all seriousness though, congratulations @Nik H, glad you got the best solution possible for your setup.

Agreed... As you well know, when you provide stock makers with the CAD drawing of your system, shouldn't be any big deal for them to inlet for it, even if it does vary slightly from the typical 700 inlet that's 90% of their work.

How is that even possible... I mean how the hell does she swing a tennis racquet?! ETA: For science, I decided to investigate... Looks like she played tennis in high school & some in college, then found what I can only imagine is a more lucrative career than mediocre tennis player as girl with...

If THE bill passes… what semi-auto shotgun for SBS?

I don't really know anything about shotguns but if I were going to have a semi-auto SBS, I think I'd want something that fed from a box magazine as opposed to a tube... That I assume is also going to be short AF now. No idea if someone makes a decent one of those or not.
