Re: Two Wonderful Hunting Rifles I actually think it is pretty comfortable, and extremely easy to hold off hand. The only thing wrong with this stock from the factory was a few small burrs, and the sling mounts make noise when trying to hunt if you move to fast. But i just tape them in place...- Rugermk2

Re: 300 wby mag reloading Hi, Thanks for the quick reply. My rifle doesn't have a muzzle break, and I do have to say the recoil is quite severe for the heavier bullets.
