Hi, all. Anyone know of good shops of repute that can work on older fixed magnification Leupold Mk4 and Ultra scopes? Basically I have a couple such scopes with a different issue specific to each one, and would like to Frankenstein's monster them to consolidate the issues into one scope and get...
Yes, Sporting Services in the UK is good to go. I’ve ordered from them numerous times, all good experiences. Their website inventory is up to date in real-time, prices are adjusted to remove VAT if ordering outside Europe, but you’ll pay for the overseas shipping (although not overly crazy...
Yes. And no. The chassis frame itself is mostly exactly the same. However, there are some slight differences in two main areas, the bolt handle and front sling attachment points, that will either require modifying the legacy skins (different cutout for the AT’s flush cups vs AW and legacy AICS...
Does the green on the covers make it a super special forces ninja sniper collector’s edition manual? Otherwise I’m baffled at the going price for this… https://www.ebay.com/itm/126404144239
Are you looking for a capped dial like on the fixed 10X M3? Or an external dial like on the 3.5-10X M3? Yeah, confusing how Leupold calls both M3, lol.

Static function test of the BORS menu options, including selection and zero of cartridge, and spinning the elevation dial post “zero cartridge”, indicates the unit is fully operational. Will look forward to seeing how the unit holds up on the range.
As you and others have identified already, it’s not anything M40A1 - well, unless you count Tom Berenger’s “M40A1” in the 1993 movie Sniper. 😉 But here’s my observations: - It has a McMillan HTG stock in molded-in woodland camo (not smear or even USMC forest camo) with textured grip and fore...
Hey, Al. Yup, it’s a Barrett BORS on a S&B 5-25x56 PMII. Just got the setup in hand very recently. The BORS turns on and cycles through the menu options fully, from what limited time I have spent fiddling with the unit so far. Reading through the operations manual now before giving the BORS a...
