    For reloading purposes, and I want to load match quality ammo, is there any difference between Federal American Eagle and Federal Gold Medal brass? My first thought is to keep the GM and AE brass separated, but will I be sacrificing accuracy by mixing the brass? All brass will be prepped...

    Re: RUGER MARK 3 with PAC-LITE upper The Pac-Lite upers are a very nice addition for a Ruger, I picked one up a couple of years ago for an old MK II and have been nothing but pleased with it. I still shoot my integrally suppressed MK II more, though.

    Re: Need advice It really depends what you want to do with your rifle. Nothing wrong with a .25-06, however, I would not consider a .25 caliber of any sort a proper elk rifle. Sure, it will do the job, but there are MUCH better choices.

    .308 788?

    Re: .308 788? Xshot, what is the interesting history on the 788's? I had one eons ago, a carbine in .243, it was a great shooting rifle. It really depends on what you want the rifle for, I think they're great for hunting, a truck gun, etc, but probably not the best choice for a build.
