Re: Pelican 1720 precision cut foam (hot wire cutter) A beefy lock wouldn't make much sense on a plastic case. Hacksaw and 1 minute and cut the plastic instead of the lock. Locks keep honest people out. If somebody was going to steal it, they'd take case and all.
Re: 357 sig problem I've always used the Ranier 124 FP and they work well with the .357 sig. I also use a Lee Factory crimp die in final station. You want to make sure that you test your crimps by pressing the bullet firmly into something and check for setback. I loaded 1000 of them about...
Re: The Savage 110 BA rifle report I don't think you'll ever find a kit to go from .300 Win Mag or .308 to .338 Lapua. The Lapua version uses a beefier/different action and bolt. If you start with the .338 Lapua version, then you could conceivably go to any other caliber with a barrel/bolt...
Re: The Pact quit and they can't fix it. It always takes them a couple of months regardless of what's wrong. You pay $14.95 and they'll fix it or replace it but it won't be quick. I kicked mine as hard as I could 2 different times and sent it in pieces but they fixed it (not really fixed)...
Re: wssm powder funnel I've used the Frankford arsenal for years. Works well with .325 WSM and .300 WSM and everything else I load from 5.7x28 - .338 RUM. I think I gave $9 for the set on sale. Frankford arsenal powder funnel Static can be a problem at first but use a dryer sheet and...
Re: .223 / 5.56 - Progressive 5 Stage Setup I've never ruined a case using the RCBS sizing dies in a Pro 2000 due to the case mouth hitting the bottom of the sizing button. Maybe the case isn't feeding straight on the 650. I also don't need to adjust my seating die after initial setup...
Re: .223 / 5.56 - Progressive 5 Stage Setup I use a RCBS Pro 2000 with RCBS dies and use a X die for sizing. Lee factory crimp die for final station. 25.0 grains TAC and 55 grain Nosler ballistic tip.

Re: headspace problems? You can take material off the dies or the shellholder. Most companies will fix them for you, if you send them about 3 fired cases. Not really an uncommon problem. I've had to send a couple of RCBS dies back to fit certain factory rifles. Both were Brownings that...
Re: Help me pick a chronograph I own the Pact Model 1 XP. A buddy has one and his has always worked pretty well. Mine has been back to Pact 3 times. First 2 they replaced the sensors, worked about 20% of the time. Last 2 times back the main unit was in a couple of pieces as I kicked it as...
Re: Redding Customer Service BIG Disappointment ! I bent a decapping assembly in a .270 Winchester die. I was told I would have to pay for the assembly, since I bent it. The replacement price was what I could buy a new RCBS die. Told them to forget it, I would just buy RCBS as they have...
Re: Reloading Data, how do you keep track? I wrote a program in Delphi to store it in along with firearm inventory database and ballistic calculations. Store photos of groups with load information and chronograph data.
