First time out at 100yds today and am impressed! Did not include the shot to the right as it was the first and I was trying to find my holdover. Haven’t yet set the zero stop on my scope, but holdover was right at around 2 mil from 50 yd zero. This was Midas +
Got my rifle on Saturday (Ravage Renegade, 18” Kukri) and got to the range today for some break in. 50 rounds each of Center-X and SK+ at 50 yards. I think she’ll shoot! These are 5 shot groups off a front and rear bag and Viper PST 6-24
Any ideas on what you might shoot? How about an old-school .45-70? Be like a hippy buffalo hunt. Super jealous, congrats and please keep us updated on details!
Look, I hate to piss on an awesome thread, but something in the Thor post hit too close to home. My wife has stage IV lung cancer and has never smoked a day in her life: started having a cough last year that was first thought to be allergies. Lung cancer kills more woman every year than breast...
+1 for the AGI video series. After viewing I felt comfortable enough to put in a 10-8 trigger and swap out a full length guide rod for a GI with EGW parts. Not rocket science I know, but it still felt good!
This is a very interesting thread. Don't know if I could budget for a GAP, but it does make me think that you could rebarrel a T3 WSM, throw it in the new Manners hunting stock and have a mighty fine rifle.
A lot has to do with the angle of the shot and placement. I've had to put down a few horses with a 22lr pistol and they are dead before they hit the ground. Have also seen a pit bull come into the clinic shot by a police officer with a 45acp and the bullet rode right over the top of the skull...
I have one from contact concealment (Home). Did a great job. I don't think the tactical is on the menu, but just I emailed and they do have the mold. You can just put it in the comment section of your order. A really great holster!
