What kind of range can I expect from a heavy barreled remington 700, 22-250. And if I do a barrel swap what all calibers could I change to just doing a barrel swap only.

Well I finally got my ruger #1 in 22-250 in. The only extra scope I had laying around was a leupold 3-9-40. It actually shot pretty well. Had some good 1/2 in groups at 100yds and a 1 1/2in 4 shot group at 200. Didnt buy it to compete or shoot very much just always wanted one. Anyone else...

I just purchased a savage 10FP .308 and am trying to decide on some glass for it. Its gonna be a range gun. I want to shoot it from 300 up to 1000yds. I really want to keep it under 1k$. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
