BCG stuck in the forward position after dry fire on PWSmk216

So I finally relented and sent this back to PWS for warranty work, just got word from them that they replaced the bolt and it was headed off to QC. Good call guys on the bolt being the issue. I will say that as many issues as I seem to have had with this rifle, PWS and their customer service...

BCG stuck in the forward position after dry fire on PWSmk216

Answers below..... I swapped pins and cams, as these were the only extra parts I have, with the same results. With what I have provided above, does it still sound like it needs a new bolt? Thanks again for the help.

BCG stuck in the forward position after dry fire on PWSmk216

It's a good question and I can't tell whether there is a burr or not to be honest... I have had the rifle since it was new, and had to send it back after about 200 rounds for problems with failures to eject. I got it back and put another 100-150 rounds through it and the tip of the firing pin...

BCG stuck in the forward position after dry fire on PWSmk216

I have a PWSmk216 and am having an issue with the BCG sticking forward after pulling the trigger during dry fire. I'm unable to pull back the charging handle in any way. The only way to release it is to slam the stock down, it will then allow me to pull the charging handle back. I can also...

    PWS MK214

Re: PWS MK214 update from support: Upon test firing we discovered what was thought to be under gassing. After further investigation we found that the Barrel extension was out of time. This allowed the bolt to over rotate and hang up. We updated the buffer tube spacer and re-shot the...

    PWS MK214

Re: PWS MK214 Yeah, I have an email into them and will follow up with a call tomorrow. I did find this on their website: https://primaryweapons.com/store/pc/viewContent.asp?idpage=29 Is it semi ejecting and getting stuck? Clean the chamber, bore, and bolt thoroughly. Try a less hot ammo...

    PWS MK214

Re: PWS MK214 Yes, it does strip the next round... but since the brass is only half way ejected the next round doesn't get all the way chambered and will typically drop out when I release the mag.

    PWS MK214

Re: PWS MK214 It doesn't clear the ejection port, it gets stuck halfway out of the port so that I have to drop the mag and pull the bolt back and physically pull it out with my hand.

    PWS MK214

Re: PWS MK214 Hey guys, question for you, I will put it to PWS as well.... I seem to be getting a lot of FTE's still with my MK216, I have about 300 rounds through it now and about 20-25% of the time I get one... I have switched magazines, run it wet, run it dry, clean, dirty, nothing seems...

    Plantar Fasciitis

Re: Plantar Fasciitis I just ended a bout with this a couple of months ago, it was brutal... It took me about 2 months once I finally started doing the right things. 1. I had to give up basketball during that time, hard to do but necessary, you cannot tough your way through it... 2. On...
