For 3gun, how often would you use hold overs unless on max magnification? I use Z6is on my match rifles and I dont really ever use holdovers within 300 yards. If the shots are further than that, I'll be on 6x. However, if someone were to come out with a 1-8 good enough to drop my Swarovskis...

I run a Spuhr mount on my 3gun rifle. Its seen some good abuse and has travelled across the country more than once without any issue. Sure, its not a QD mount, but seems to hold zero at least as well as the QD mount when removing and putting back on.

The Kahles is about the same price as the Z6i, so why not take a look at that as well?
