    Re: Looking to buy my first 1911 If you try to keep it cheap, it'll probly cost you more in the long run. I spent a long time shopping for a 1911. Decided to go ahead and get one that had everything I wanted. I got the kimber Custom Covert. Have no regrets and don't have to worry about upgrading.
