Re: new project rifle Bell & Carlson are less expensive? Okay, thanks very much for that helpful info. I want to make this rifle so it is super accurate and reliable but dont want to put money into a high priced stock that wont affect either of those criteria.- covingtondeer

Re: need advice re building new project rifle are these surgeon features really important to accuracy. i know that sounds silly on a site like this, but i dont know the truly important things to spend money on when building a rifle for accuracy, besides a good barrel of course.- covingtondeer

i am looking for advice on a new hunting rifle for next season, either in 257 wby mag or 264 win mag, and am leaning toward using a rem 700 mag action, shilen or similar barrel and mcmillan stock or similar.
