What sort of aftermarket support for savage 11/111 hog hunter?
I just bought one last week to start my build. Like the above post said it has the 4.4 bolt spacing and side bolt release, so there are many options. The factory stock is very cheap and flimsy. Yeah I will shoot the .308 for a while probably. From what I have read it is more challenging to shoot the .308 at distance, but it provides a good learning base that will help a shooter in the long run for more forgiving rounds like the 6.5.
