    Buy a Defiance, Mack Bros, action & Bartlein barrel, good start. IMO 1100yrds is a bit on the "outer" limits for a .308 cartridge, maybe take a look @ anything in the 6.5 CM or PRC? or .260? etc.

    I've used an ultrasonic for the last decade at work, lots of AR parts as well as pistol parts, with the right temp and solution it's been a great tool.
