Re: question about a rem 700 p THE LTR HAS THE TRIANGLE TYPE FLUTING AS I CALL IT, BUT IM LOOKING FOR REG FLUTES THEY WERE ABOUT TWICE AS WIDE AS NORMAL, AND THERE WERE ONLY THREE. IN 2007 I THINK I REMEMBER THEM IN THE REM CATALOG, BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIND OUT IF THAT WAS THE ONLY YEAR...

Re: question about a rem 700 p about a year ago i saw this 700p in a pawn shop, in 308. and it had three wide flutes on the barrel, not like the newer triangle type, this was reg wide flutes. can anyone tell me if this is how the 700p comes from the factery, or what!
