Rang the gong at 500 meters today with my PTR-91SC. First time I have taken it that far. Ammo used was American Eagle .308D 150 gr into a 15-20 mph headwind. Scope is a Nikon Monarch 2.5-10x42 with BDC reticle. Steel plate that I believe is 14 inch square. I'm very pleased.

I had to go out and sight in the newly mounted Monarch X 4-16x50 even though today was another windy day. I'm still digging sand out of my eyes and ears but here was my best group. I only shot 35 rounds today and 10 were to get the scope zeroed. Overall I'm happy with my progress and very happy...
