Re: Savage 110FCP, Almost done (need cheek piece) Diego, The outside is 3.850". Interior length is 3.70". Frank, The chamber on mine seems to be a little tight. I'm seeing pressure with Retumbo around 92gr and 91.5gr with H1000. Granted it is a little low, but it seems to be getting close...

Re: 6.5 Creedmoor vs 7mm WSM hunting rifle I'm also a 6.5mm fan but for hunting I I'd go with the 7WSM. Never hurts to have a little more than you need rather than a little less.
Re: new guy looking to buy first precision rifle I also agree going 6.5CM to start is the best idea. The factory ammo is capable of 1/2 MOA. My Bartlein barreled Creedmoor was a laser and although this isn't a custom barrel, I'm sure you will still see a lot more accuracy out of the rifle...
Re: Is Savage killing the Custom Rifle market? To add to this AXE, for the guys that might not be understanding all of this: The reason you will see reduced accuracy downrange even though you can have decent consistency at 100yd is because of the deviation in velocity from each round fired...
