Re: To clean or not to clean Well, this thread has been a real eye opener for me. I always clean my rifles when I get home from the range, regardless of whether I've shot 10 or 200 rounds. Re: Sling?: AI, TAB, TIS I've got all three of the slings you've mentioned, and I like them all. I've used them on the shooting ranges, in Sniper competitions and for hunting and each works just fine. It may just come down to getting one you like the look of ! Once you are an NRA full member, or hold an FAC, you are able to hire weapons from Fred in the armoury (the same building as the range office). They are all basic weapons, but a good place to start.
