I've been reading a lot about Gemtech cans lately. Seems like the concensus is that the HVT model is frowned on. Is it because of the weight? Sound reduction? Quality? Does anyone have any positive experiences with the HVT? About to make my first can purchase, just researching.

A month ago, I dropped off my rifle at GAP. Today I got home and my old barrel was on my porch in a fed ex box. Do they usually ship take off barrels back to you? Does this mean my process has started? Just wondering. -Matt

On the box, Hornady lists a 1-9" recommended twist rate for the 6mm 105 a-max. Does anyone know if a 7.7 twist is too fast for this bullet? The new bullets with the AMP jacket, do they shoot different? What is so great about this new jacket, the old ones shot great for me. Thanks. -Matt

Right now I have my 700 at GAP getting rebarreled and cerakoted. I have seen pics of Badger's bottom metal on many rifles around here. Now, I don't shoot any tactical matches, would I benefit from having the M4 or M5 version put on my gun, except looking bad ass. -Matt
