Savage MkII FTF / Brass thickness
So I've done a lot of work to my MkII lately, and it has come a long way in terms of accuracy. However, it has seen a sharp increase in the number of rounds that don't go off. Re: Thicker bottom metal for Savage Mk II? FWIW I just put some work into my savage mkII. I got the DIP bottom metal and some extra screws. I just carefully measured the difference and drilled a new hole in the metal. Its worth noting that this rifle was shooting 4-6" groups at 50 yards...- Boncrete

Shoulder bump question.
Re: Shoulder bump question. I'm sure there are others out there if you look, but off the top of my head I know Forster makes a die that will do this. You can neck size and bump the shoulder, and if you only want to bump the shoulder, you just remove the bushing and you are ready to go.- Boncrete

Re: RCBS case trimmer help Are you sure the plate is on the correct way? The beveled portion of the plate should be facing the cutter, not away from it. It might seem obvious, but its easy to check.- Boncrete
