Re: 300 RUM recipes I would try Retumbo or RL 25 if you want to push the heavier bullets to 3,000 fps out of a 26" barrel. My factory 26" tube needs a near max load of Retumbo to hit 3,000 fps with a 208 gr Amax or the 200 Nosler Accubond. I have a friend who has a 27.5" Pac-nor barrel on...- Poof

Re: Sendero v. 5R I also have an older Sendero in 300 Ultra mag. I have shot it out to 1,000 yards and it is more consistent than me. I do believe a heavier contoured barrel on my rifle may help with scope mirage. I can crack off three shots and then I get a lot of mirage. I'm currently...- Poof
