Last build before I hoped a plane across the pond.

Re: Last build before I hoped a plane across the pond. Well there's others at Ft. Campbell, and I can proudly say that I'm part of the others. This trip is more fun than business anyhow...I have a great view of the ocean from my hotel room. Tax dollars hard at work boys. I'll get some...

Last build before I hoped a plane across the pond.

This was put together and duracoated by myself for a friend's dad. I hand cut all the designs on the AR and put a layer of flat over all the peices for an even sheen. The rifle was also built and pinned by me. Here's the gun porn...enjoy:

    Gunsmithing Pic Request for Duracoaters

Re: Pic Request for Duracoaters I just got my OD in yesterday so I have yet to play with it. The dark green that is in my Multi-cam is a 1 part Magpul Flat Dark Earth to 2 parts Woodland Green. I will hopefully be getting around to some test sprays tomorrow so I will have pictures from that...

Gunsmithing Perminant attachment or flash suppressor

This post may already be on here, I searched but didn't get an exact answer. I've gotten 2 AR-15's with 14.5" barrels, one was put together in NC and another in TN. Both have blind pinned flash suppressors on them. Neither are welded over and both were done by certified gunsmiths. The ATF states...

    Gunsmithing Duracoat application technique

Re: Duracoat application technique I've got a Paasche Single Action Syphon Airbrush as well as a Kobalt gravity fed HVLP airgun. I've noticed that the Kobalt creates a lot of waste on smaller projects but is great for doing bolt action stocks or single color rifles. The airbrush is nice...

    Gunsmithing Duracoating as a hobby...

I started Duracoating about 2 years ago, but due to deployments and schools it's kept me away from it. I just wanted to throw this out there being a new guy I thought I'd show what I've done. These are some projects that I've done for myself, family and friends. Let me know what you...
