    Sticky bolt/hard to extract.

Hi Gil, yes I have. It has no issue on first and second time I shot it. Bolt starts to stick third time around (second reloads).

    Sticky bolt/hard to extract.

Thanks for the reply. It’s a big relief. I will do as advised and update if bolt still sticks. But is the rest of the ammo still safe to shoot in this rifle or other rifles? Thanks

    Sticky bolt/hard to extract.

Hi gents, I'd like to hear your expert opinion on this sticky bolt issue I have. The rifle is Steyr Scout Elite in 308Win. I have no issue lifting the bolt, but have a hard time extracting bolt to the back. Brass was shot twice before. Brass is never full length resized, not even shoulder...

Rifle Scopes Scope objective to rail minimum clearance

Ok that’s great news. My scope mount is not cantilevered like that. It’s a one piece mount made by Brugger & Thomet that I purchased a long time ago. Thanks.

Rifle Scopes Scope objective to rail minimum clearance

Thanks for the response so far. No, I have not shot the rifle with this setup before. Scope feel solid when I press it down. Maybe I’ll stick few post-it note under the scope. If they got squashed then the spacing is too little.

Rifle Scopes Scope objective to rail minimum clearance

Hello, Based on your experience, do you think 0.014" (0.35mm) spacing between bottom of scope bell to picatinny rail is too little? I'm a worried cause I've seen how scope flexes during recoil. This is for my 308 rifle. If it's too little, do you think that spacing is good enough for 6.5x47Lapua...

Another vote for American Defense MFG. Great quality for the price. I also like ERA-TAC.

    Sako or anschutz

Re: Sako or anschutz I have both. I like my 64 mpr better. Bolt is smooth and trigger is top notch out of the box. But like dfoosking said, you don't see Finnfire range on marketplace often. If you like it, go for it.

    Oil or Grease on Bolt?

Re: Oil or Grease on Bolt? I use Slipstream Weapon Lubricant(liquid) on bolt body but use Shooter's Choice grease on lugs. That Slipstream feels slicker than Shooter's Choice or Mil-Com TW25B on my Steyr.
