video playlist, battle against cancer continues..

Dude! Completely lost track of things on the other Sniper's HIde. So happy the "old one" is back. But very unhappy about your cancer. But I see you've taken this struggle on with your strengths.

Angle degree indicator mount for NF

I've been very curious about this. I've thought about the idea that the place where I zero my rifle at 300 yards may have a certain inclination, but where I do a long range competition...well, it might certainly be different. Yes, 6" is a world of difference. Does a cant level get "zeroed"...

Not really. It was used by Honda to showcase the basic premise of superbike: taking a street bike and preparing it for racing. They won the Daytona 200 in 1970 during a period when the premier class was made of grand prix machine, rides like the Kawasaki H1R, works units from H-D, BSA/Triumph...

Actually, the original superbike is the 1969 CB750. It's the origin for the in-line four production performance bike that so many manufactures used. F2 was a good bike though.

Cant decide which way to go, bolt or semi-auto?

There are a couple of threads going on. One in the semi auto section, the other in the bolt action section. In both, people are posting pictures of groups. Good groups in semi. I think the best bolt action groups are better than the best groups in semi auto. My LR6.5 is pretty darn heavy...

Cant decide which way to go, bolt or semi-auto?

I have a semi auto in 6.5 Creedmoor. It's excellent. 1000yrds is easily accomplished, even for me as a returning shooter with no previous long range shooting. For $2k, are you including an optic? I did a semi auto as it was a platform that I was familiar with. It was comfortable to return...

Savage now and then AKA why people hate Savage

I think it is supposed to show how many like to show off how their stuff looks in comparison to how fewer show off how it functions. Kind of a look how cool/pretty/neat my hammer looks vs look what my hammer does.

That was excellent! Gonna have to read that again a couple time because it had other stuff in there that was worth knowing.

Join me on my EPIC AR accuracy journey! From reloading to bullet hole @600yards! WITH PICS

Hey, elfster... I don't know if you've covered this, but what is the safety protocol for reloading locations for those of us that haven't done it? Can it be done in the basement with the natural gas or propane water heater and/or furnace down there too?

Looking at AR10 again and need advice.

Sounds like a good deal! But, just like when I buy bikes, cars, and other stuff... I just assume that I'll be wrong. I try to be less wronger if possible. :D Post pics if you make the deal!

Looking at AR10 again and need advice.

I don't know enough about the Sig to establish any attributes to it. But we've got three DPMS rifles here at home, two in 308 (16" and 20") and one in 6.5 Creedmoor. The Creedmoor is awesome, and part of that is the single stage JP trigger that mine has. The stock DPMS triggers are fine...

    Hunting & Fishing thermal underwear

Ah, let me tell you sensei... :D Again, it's not cold in Wisconsin yet. I was just wearing Tru-Spec 24/7 pants, a simple work overcoat...pretty light nylon with a little insulation. Mid upper...some variations I played with: a 50/50 work polo, a work fleece, and our new work polo that is...

    Hunting & Fishing thermal underwear

Well, getting cold now. Not terribly, but I've had some time to compile some of my own observations. Not extreme cold at all, but I've been doing some work outside, then jumping back in a vehicle to go someplace and get out and do some more work. As a result, I think I am beginning to...
