these are new prices, BUT the S3 is MOA- my pref is Mils, but I can make either work. I've read a ton of threads ie:https://www.snipershide.com/shooting/threads/zeiss-lrp-s3-6-36-vs-steiner-t6xi-5-30-opinions.7152089/, but most reference the S3 as being more expensive than the Steiner. I'd...
Brownells has knocked down its 5-25 and 3-18 MPOs to $699- Ilya said he quite liked to 3-18, so wondering if they're worth shortlisting as a decent budget option ?
Hi- I already have one of the Vudu's on my MWS, I like it a lot, glass seems decent, I like the turrets, not a massive fan of the illumination, but I picked it up as a demo from Eurooptic for $1199- and I can get another for the same price , but the Burris has been getting so much good...
at Midway, so are they worth a look ? the 3-18 is $799 and the 3-24 is $899... Were they optimistically priced to start or are they now a good option ? https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020619673?pid=259746
Looking for a nice-ish, simple 308 OOB bolt action- I'm a bit of a shit shot, and want something decent I can enjoy shooting as I try to be a bit less shit- I was thinking a Sig Cross or Bergara HMR Pro- then this pops up -lot of carbon fibre fanciness going on there- don't know when these will...
only had this a short while, bought it used on one of the forums, popped an IOR 3.5-18 in IOR low rings on it... Taken it out just 3 times so far, but really, really starting to grow on me. Very much enjoying learning from the info posted in the stickies here. As soon as I make a 5 shot group...
Just picked this up this afternoon... the price was right, gently used with just one box through it, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I do like the idea of a full sized, bobtailed, alloy framed 1911. On paper I'd say this is the most "right" Kimber that's come out of Yonkers lately. No...
on an optic to bung on my 308 POF to go to, say 600-800yrds...what to do. It's a major chunk of change, but then i looked back on the "mixed" bag of optics that I've bought this past 6 years, looked at how many of those i actually still use, did some mental math, cursed somewhat and it got me...
I've seen a few earlier versions of the FFP 3-18X up for sale, wondered what the odds were of it taking a dump when used on a 308 gas gun. Is it not a question of "if" but "when" ? Or was it a very small percentage of the scopes ? Will IOR fix them ? cheers
I've a couple of other IORs and they've worked very well for me thus far, I like the range of the 3-18, which is why I'm looking at this scope in particular (though the Viper PST looks appealing if i have the patience to wait until June/July) My level of fieldcraft is about up to telling grass...
hi, am i correct in thinking that the illuminated version of the IOR 3-18X is gen 4 and would address all the prior concerns about reliability ? Are these scopes all mil/mil or is that a special order item ? Many thanks
