Re: Erie PA Perch Nice, you guys quite a setup. It's usually just me and I take my St Croix Eyecon walleye/bass/pike rig and my St Croix triumph panfish setup. I haven't baitfished since I was very young back at the Jersey shore where I grew up. Used to get blues and weakfish there. Did...
Re: Erie PA Perch Never did catch a walleye, although I will change that one of these days. Plenty of perch in my lifetime too. Nice catch! the only kind of hook & line I do is with a spinning rod. Do you use that too?
Re: Failure to feed I had the gas block on mine repaired because it wasn't feeding the .223 (it's chambered 5.56) at all. After that, ran like a champ with .223. Fired some 77gr 5.56 Black Hills OTM through it, and the first two 25 round mags there were some FTF, but on the third mag none...
Re: Black Hills 77 grain 223 vs 5.56 Nice range on that Big John. What is yours zeroed at? Mine's set at 50 yards, but I haven't shot it nearly past that yet even.
Re: Black Hills 77 grain 223 vs 5.56 I just picked up some Black Hills 5.56 77gr OTM from Midway. I didn't see your cheaper prices until after the fact Steve Next time I'll get it from you guys. I'm looking forward to trying it out in my AR. It's 18" 1:7, should work pretty well.
Re: Need help with finding a stock for Savage Model 10 Yeah, I'm finding that out the more I look. Look like something custom. Tactical Works and Stockade Gun Stocks look promising.
Fellow shooters - I need some help and need to find a stock that is comparable to a Savage model 10 Accustock. It needs to fit an older style model 10 FCP staggered feed design with 4.275" screw spacing, and needs to have a detachable magazine well. I spoke to Savage and they said they don't...
Re: Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 Video Review Enjoyed part 2, and thanks for the video once again. Curious, and maybe I missed it, but did the illumination still function after the freeze test?
Re: Bushnell Elite Tactical 6-24x50 Video Review Just watched part 1, very good vid John, thanks a bunch. I just bought this exact scope this past summer and had it mounted on my Savage 10FCP (also just bough this past summer). I have a 20MOA base for it. I've yet to take it my new outfit to...

Re: Pelican 1720 precision cut foam (hot wire cutter) Very nice job. I just got two 1750 cases and I plan to cut one also for my AR with all the mags and gear and the other for my Savage with the scope mounted when I get it back from the smith.
