Re: SWFA-SS Tax Day Group Buy: 1-6, 5-20, and more!
Well, I have finally canceled my order and am returning the 5-20. This has just been too much for me.
Re: SWFA-SS Tax Day Group Buy: 1-6, 5-20, and more!
I was told by Catrina O'Neal, the Customer Service manager that they are coming in to them at 50 per shipment. I was something like order 158, which means who knows how long this could drag on for...

Re: Savage .300 blackout custom build
Just started load development, just some 110 gr v-max loaded as supers over little gun and then over trail boss for subs.
Pictures are of supers in seven shot group at .2 spacing and then 5 more. All at 50 yards since it is the max i had that day, but...
Re: XLR Chassis Stock
Have heard that the 5-20 needs the extra high rings...never measured it all to be sure though.
I know i tried to see if it would work on mine with seekins high rings and the bell wouldn't clear the handguard w/ the 20moa base.
Re: XLR Chassis Stock
Which SWFA scope was that deal. I have the SWFA SS 3-9x42 on mine and it takes the highs to clear. I think the mid-highs would have worked, but it would have been very close with the 20moa base and BC Caps.
My first from the ground up build and can see how addicting it can be.
Started as a Savage 12 left handed action in .223 from Jim Briggs at Northland Shooters Supply. Picked up from my local dealer and then had my friend Chris at Hansohn Brothers barrel it with a BFG 16.5 varmint barrel in...

Re: SWFA-SS Tax Day Group Buy: 1-6, 5-20, and more!
It surged past 5,000 and then just really slowed down. I don't see it making it without some big change. I'll decide right before the codes start expiring if it's better to get one then none.
