    It looks like we are finally seeing some over-the-barrel cans made and available in the US. Don’t know why it took so long but glad to see it. Now to figure out which one to get for a hunting rifle. The B.O.B. from savage is one but it’s a bit heavy and haven’t seen reviews yet.

    You can also use a CTR mag if you bend the feed lips out a little bit, that gives you about 2.97”. That may or may not be enough length depending on the bullet. If that’s enough you can run the 300 WSM in a KRG Bravo or a factory CTR stock.

    6.5x55 is shooting great. It feels just like a Bravo. I do miss the spigot for a TRG bipod but a light bipod like the Spartan works better with a lighter weight hunting rifle. The forend flex is noticeable if you push on it, but with normal use it’s not an issue.

    Got my Tikka 6.5x55 into a green echo. Simple and light, I liked it enough to immediately order another for a .308 Tac A1 action. Its fits great with the stock barrel channel. This is a great hunting setup.

    UPR is my favorite for hunting. But the new KRG Echo hunting stock is close second.

    It’s a great chassis. The grip is perfect for me. And I’m in the minority but I run a TRG bipod in all the KRG chassis spigots. It’s one of the secret strengths of the system. Only downside is it’s heavier but that depends on what you’re doing.
