I've been remiss in posting a range report. I finally got it out for a decent run about 2 months ago. Beautiful sunny day in VT. I have a 200m range on my property so I was shooting 100m and 200m targets. The following is a reflection of the quality of Mike's work and I would normally hesitate...- JJBMD

Buying another AR15 platform, LWRC or KAC, help.
Re: Buying another AR15 platform, LWRC or KAC, help. I did send it back to LWRC shortly after getting it. They shot a ~1.75" group with 77g Black hills ammo and sent the target and rifle back to me saying it met requirements.... which I guess it did as they promise 2" and under. I think LWRC...- JJBMD

Re: Noveske SPR with VIS or Noveske SPR w/ Switchblock I just spoke to customer service at Noveske. Their advise is stick to the 16" Recon. In their words "its the sweet spot" for their barrels.- JJBMD

Re: Noveske SPR with VIS or Noveske SPR w/ Switchblock I hate to sat it but the extra length cannot hurt? Unless you are telling me the VIS on the Recon adds more stiffness/ stability that more than offsets the extra barrel length?- JJBMD

Currently I have an order in for a 16" SS Recon with VIS and Switchblock. I very tempted to switch to a Noveske SPR for the added accuracy but as far as I can tell they don't make the SPR with both VIS and Switchblock.
