Re: Long Range Quick Shot help For hunting and my 260 with A 100yd zero, I can use holdovers fairly easy. My 300yd drop is very close to 1 mil, 400yd is 2 mil, 500yd is 3mil. I would run your numbers, I bet a 300wm would be a little better but still might have something for quicker holds for...

Re: good tripod? take a look at slik sprint mini II. I have one and really like it. light and compact. I didn't care for the head on it so I replaced it with a vanguard ph-21. PRS has tripods and I believe the medium height uses the slik sprint mini II tripod with different heads. They also...
Re: I'm free floating my sps stock today... I free floated mine and accuracy went way down. Decided to pillar bed the stock for practice and it brought accuracy back close to normal but still way too much flex in the cheap stock. Ended up filling waffle channels in forearm with carbon arrow...
Re: Making a fore-end stiffer. Check out fibreglast.com for the carbon fiber too. You can also get it already impregnated with resin. Just add heat to cure it. You are going to want to use epoxy resin with carbon.
Re: What is good FPS for reloading? check out the reloading depot for loads ( reloading depot link ) It should list many load recipes with velocities. I personally don't worry as much about my velocities and rather more for accuracy. I shoot 155 scenars with 46.2gr varget @ 2840 fps with...
Re: Bedding a SPS Varmint???? I pillar bedded my sps stock for practice. I decided to free float the barrel by sanding off the two pressure pads in the forearm. Accuracy went way down so decided to get a little practice. I ordered some aluminum standoffs from Mcmaster Carr and devcon 10110...
