Re: Most Ridiculous Accuracy Claim You have Seen So, I'm at my favorite gun counter with a friend looking at pistols, my friend asks about the Walther P22. I had one, so I tell him it's a cute little .22, fun to shoot at tin cans, but not terribly accurate (and has a kind of tough...
Re: My new Biathlon Basic in .22WMR Those rifles are a fantastic value, mine is in .22 I had to be talked in to buying mine (not the best looking rifles), wouldn't think of getting rid of it now. Congrats on a great purchase!
Re: Headspace question- I'm gunsmithing ignorant! Thanks, I kind of figured it wasn't a bench rest gun when he wrote "AIAW". I guess back to the main question, checking the headspace would be the "safe" thing to do..

Re: Headspace question- I'm gunsmithing ignorant! They are expensive, I took a rifle building class from Phil Lebow, he had several sets. I plan to get them for .308 and .223... they don't make sense unless you are really worried, have multiples in the same caliber, or plan to build rifles..
Re: 22lr supressor options I have a couple of .22 suppressors (who can stop at one?) The HTG Universal is my favorite. I am not sure about the db reduction (it's quiet). It is stainless, should last a lifetime, and in a pinch you can use it on an AR (per HTG it has to have a 16 inch barrel)...

I have the M30 (308), a cycle for my Sig 9. I recently had a chance to go out to the desert with Mark Owens (manager of HTG) and my brother (big Joe) to shake down the new production models of the Aris .223 can and a Cycle .45 can. I have suppressors from a couple manufacturers in Idaho, but...
Re: Woman caught dumping cat in trash bin I agree, animal cruelty for cruelty's sake is not a good thing. I am just not sure why (other than the fact that it would be dead) it would be better to dump a mouse in the bin after it has slowly died of poisoning, been crushed by a trap etc.. I...
Re: Woman caught dumping cat in trash bin So what you are saying, is that as long as you have a reason, and kill the animal first you are good to go? not much difference to me in crushing an animal in a trap,(or impaling it as many outdoor traps do) and dumping it in an enclosed area?
Re: Woman caught dumping cat in trash bin An interesting experiment, would you toss a rat, or a mouse in a trash bin? What if it is a pet rat or mouse that is loose? I am not really seeing a difference? I don't see myself dumping a cat sitting on a stoop in a trash bin, but I could easily...
Re: Izhmash Biathlon Rifle Experience Anyone? I use the basic biathlon, plain as hell, but once you shoot it you don't want to put it down. It is not nearly as nice looking as their high end models. I think they are around $400
Re: Suppressor Suggestion for Rem 700 I use an HTG M30, It is a value. I was really surprised at how quite the thing makes my Rem 700. If I was buying now... I would buy it again.. for what it's worth.
