Given what I’ve seen and read as to IQ on the MK5, I’d take the additional couple ounces and go with the ATACR 4-16x42.

The Minox ZP5 is a fantastic optic. I have the 5-25x56. Id like to find a 3-15x50 as well. Good luck with your search as they are hard to find

After all the input from this forum and LRH forum, I did the Eric Cortina approach with a hard jam. Found those measurements to be very close to my original measurements (just a bit longer as you would expect from a hard jam). Will back this off about -0.015" as a starting point for max CBTO...
