Re: anyone duck hunt with 2 3/4" You need to pattern your gun with several different loads, shot sizes and chokes. A 2 3/4 shell that patterns well out of your shotgun will be much more proficient than a 3" shell that you just grabbed off the shelf at bass pro.- shotgunner1526

Re: Bird Gun? WestOfPecos....Have you cleaned both guns? The 391 Urika2 IS EASIER and less complicated. The 391 is also the MOST used semi in the sporting world now. The 390 is still available though as a price point option.- shotgunner1526

Re: Bird Gun? Beretta 391 20ga. The 390 series beretta is the most used and proven semiauto in the world. Lighter than most with very little recoil due to the gas system. Re: future duck dog! I agree with blklabs. You would be better off sending her to a trainer or hooking up with a club in the area. FF is not something that you can bs your way through, you either get it right or you mess up a good dog. Good Luck which ever way you go!- shotgunner1526

Re: future duck dog! Nice looking pup. Like the others said...It is not too late! Start with simple obedience, (Sit, Heel, Here). Throw "fun" dummies for her with no expectations/pressure, just lots of praise when she picks them up. You can't do much more until her teeth come in around 6-7...- shotgunner1526
