    actually, it was loose (maybe 2 turns max) when i went to check it after a session, so may be it. but they don't look like solid stikes, which is why i asked.

    Shot about 1K rounds through my Cyclone (.30 cal) on my SAW M249S. It got hot as hell, burned off the finish. No big deal. But the end is flared out. No clear signs of baffle strikes since it is pretty uniform and no clear abrasions. I was shooting Wolf 55 gr. Anyone else have this...
