    I have a NF 5.5x22 and in the scenario you described I've set my magnification at 11 and use the MLR reticle for hold overs. The reticle effectivity doubles at 11x, this works for me as it's only one detail to work with.

    Which powder cfe 223 or xbr8208 for 155 gr 308

    XBR 8208 by far with the 155. Not all powders react the same sensitivity wise from caliber to caliber (say compared to 223 to 308), but 8208 takes the cake insofar as 308 and temp insensitivity. What brass you using?
