I'm in the same boat. I'm looking for something long and something that I can fit a suppressor under. So far I've found; Apex Odin Works Samson Manufacturing JP If I weren't concerned about fitting a suppressor, I'd look at; Daniel Defense Wilson Combat Centurion There are a few more, but I...
So you're saying that you'll feel a lighter rail over a heavier barrel when it comes to how the rifle feels when shouldered? I get the whole 'ounces = pounds, pounds = pain' adage, but this isn't exactly equal. The black rifle shown is a lightweight midlength DD 14.5" barrel with a giessele...
I always try to go full length when I can, unless I have a can that won't fit beneath the rail or if the can overlaps the barrel. A full length rail doesn't add that ,much weight. The barrel contour is what you'll feel. With that being said, not every rifle I have has full length rails.
My gym is the first 'accredited' goruck gym in the Philadelphia area. They usually do goruck training every tuesday and thursday night plus sunday mornings. I sometimes do goruck training to keep fit and it can be an ass kicker. They want me to do an event with their team, but I really don't...

Re: FNX 45 Tac or H&K CT? I have a USP Tactical in .40. I had it sent back because I had a case rupture(to put it lightly). It took 6 weeks and $215 for a new frame, extractor, test fire and sent back to my dealer. Their customer service wasn't as evil as I heard and initially thought. It now...

Re: Sentinel stocks - builds Pictures If you hunt from the prone or have a nice rest, sure. If you hunt from a stand or the more conventional positions, I would go with something else. I'm speaking from my experience, not yours. If you can make it work, awesome.

Re: Why the stock you have on your rifle? KMW Sentinel I like it because it's well thought out. I like the way I a able to use my home made poly-pellet bean-bag with it. I like that it has an interchangeable sling mount (for either a Harris or atlas bipod). I like how it has 5 flush cups. I...
