Best piston ar for $1500?

Negative. The M6SL is in fact a piston gun. For your price point that is probably the best piston gun you can buy.

SCAR16 or LWRC IC SPR 16"

I owned an M6IC and traded it for a Scar 16 this past week. The IC was nice, accurate right out of the box, factory trigger is one of the better ones out there but still upgraded to a Geiselle. My main complaint with the IC was the weight. Gun was VERY nose heavy. The only way to correct that...

I've been looking for info on this for some time now. 08GTCS is the 14" assembly exactly that length? Also the Surefire brake shows it is 2.7" but how much does it actually add to the barrel? Any what is the completed length? Thanks. Need to get over the 16" mark and don't want it all barrel.
