I wasn't satisfied with my Colt LE 6920 M4 even after I put a Geissele SSA-E trigger in it. I ordered a WOA Full 18" Varmint upper with 1 in 7" twist and had them Flute it to dissipate heat better and save some weight for an extra 100$. It shot this 5 shot 100 yd. group right out of the box...
355sigfan is correct. You bridges the gap with your mount. A very bad idea and I assume it's part of you problem I haven't read all the posts, but the first BIG PROBLEM is your mount for your scope. I can not imagine how you can even see through it. Your cheek weld must be lined up with your...
My WOA upper came with these two mounting nipples. I use the front one for my sling and the back one to mount my Harris Bipod. The forearm is drilled and threaded to screw them into which also align up for the holes in the two inch Picatinny rail. It also came with a Picatinny mount that I...
Take a look at the one I have. It is a BUSHNELL 4.5-18X40 BDC RETICLE TARGET AR-SCOPE with Warne QT Ultra High Aluminum rings. They measure 1.5" from the top of the Picatinny rail to the center of the scope rings. It gives you a little higher cheek weld than most other rings ( a good thing for...
Good price. Buy it then sell the upper and get a WOA complete 18" varmint upper with 1 in 7" twist, have them flute it then add a Geissele SSA-E trigger. Then you will have one that shoots and looks like mine.
I love when a very expensive name brand shoots MOA. My Colt LE 6920 M4 would shoot like that which wasn't good enough for me so I put an 18" complete WOA varmint upper with 1 in 7" twist and a Geissele SSA-E trigger and had it fluted by WOA. The first time I shot it with the new upper I shot two...
My WOA (1 in 7") 18" varmint barrel that is fluted shoots less than 1/2" at 100 yds with my hunting load of 65 gr. Sierra Game kings and less than that with 69 gr. Match Kings. The group with the dime was shot with the 65 gr. Game Kings.
I bought a Colt LE 6920 M4 for 1049$ then added a Geissele SSA-E trigger for 230$. With my good reloads it would group between 1" + 1.5". I am an accuracy nut so I ordered a White Oak Armament 18" varmint Complete upper and had WOA flute it for me to save some weight for 734$. It now groups less...
Your Ar barrel may only be capable to group 3/4" to 1" at 100 yds. Are you shooting factory or reloaded bullets? I reload and my White Oak Armament barrel is very accurate and groups less than 1/2" at 100 yds.
Cheek weld is very personal. I like my cheek bone to rest on top of my stock. With my set up I need 1.5" from the top of the Picatinny rail to the center of the scope tube ( center of the scope ring ). If yours is comfortable it looks like a good set up. It looks like yours measures about 1 inch...
If you go with low power like a 3-9x40mm scope why do you hinder yourself with only low power. If you get a scope like mine it has 4.5-18x40mm. I can not tell the difference between 3 power and 4.5 power. It sure is nice when you have much higher power when you want than not having it when you...
I got this green light for varmint hunting at night. Got it from Sportsman's Guide on sale for $116.99. The picture was taken at about 50 yds. at 4.5 power. The leaves on the tree are very clear and showing the reticule. Now all I have to do is see a coyote at night.
Get the manufacturer to fix the barrel then sell it and replace it with a WOA barrel. This is what my WOA 18" varmint with 1 in 7" twist does at 100 yds.
