Watch Out for Scammers!
We've now added a color code for all accounts. Orange accounts are new members, Blue are full members, and Green are Supporters. If you get a message about a sale from an orange account, make sure you pay attention before sending any money!
I have been thinking of creating a trust for all my weapons. This will be done in Colorado so if anyone can recommend an attorney that would be great. My concerns/questions 1.) price 2.) Pros/cons of doing a trust 3.) Can trusts protect against weapons ban? 4.) Transferring current class...
Did you take out and inspect the baffles? I clean and inspect mine every couple hundred rounds or so, and also rotate the baffles to reduce zero shift. I know that AAC wont just send you new baffles, you will have to send your can in if they are damaged.
I tried my 7.62sd on a .22. It is kind of a long can so I was very worried about baffle strikes but tried it anyways. I did weigh all the .22 ammo that I was going to shoot through to make sure I wouldn't shoot a round that had a reduced load and cause a baffle strike. Also I would recommend...
You need to just focus on all the fundamentals sight picture, breathing, trigger squeeze, and shoot a lot. You have barely shot anything in your LWRC and need to be practicing as much as you can. Don't get discouraged by a few bad groups just shoot. It may help to turn your gas system off and...
Like others have said try a box of factory Ammo first like the Federal Gold medal match in 168. Do it with the gas port turned off and place each round in the chamber by hand. Then run the bolt forward and shoot away. Some piston actions are very violent and you may need to crimp your bullets...
at 100yds you can shoot an elk no problem with a .308. heck anything just about will put one down at that range with good shot placement. Just make sure you use a proven bullet and load.
You may want to define what your intentions are for these and if they are to be used in conjunction with a weapon system or just a stand alone device. Also I believe that the PVS7 are slightly magnified too. I never had a problem using just one 14, two would be way to heavy and cumbersome. Some...
Sorry everyone I have been overseas. I am now home moved and ready to get some new projects going. Working on getting another batch done guys. I am also working on the NVG cage that people have been asking about. Please send me a PM so I can start a list. I also have been working on a really...
I take it you are either in the Army or Marines, you will very much enjoy that rifle. The .338 Lapua is one of my favorite cartridges tons of reloading info and easily can go distances past 2000yds. It is also quite forgiving at shorter ranges (>1000yds) with minimal wind shifting due to the...
After a long time of reading and reviewing 1911s I found the Springfield TRP 1911 to be the best for the money. It is by far my favorite pistol and I have shot all the elite customs 1911s. Really for the money the TRP is the best. I reload and it takes everything I give it! I even loaded down...
Great review, looking at picking up a mark 6 once the Leupold site comes back up on promotive. Been waiting patiently for the TMR release and some reviewers. With the weight, elevation adjustment, and features I think this scope is the one to get.
Re: Substitutions for Varget in 308 w/ 155 Scenars In Idaho and Colorado everything is gone, so I would suggest whatever you can get your hands on. The Vihtavuori N500 series powder is all temp insensitive it is more expensive but perhaps available due to the higher cost? Good Luck
Re: How much would you pay for a Kriss Vector? I too have heard these had issues, however a newer version is supposed to be released soon to remedy those issues. I would rather get a carbine kit for a glock and go that route.
Re: Drones, privacy and private property Lots of interesting information. In Idaho I have seen what seemed to be something that resembled the "Shadow" UAVs. Those would be pretty easy to shoot down. But in Colorado they use the much larger predators and what not. Somewhat related...
Re: best battle knife? I carried a Chris Reeves "Green Beret" for nearly 8yrs. My favorite knife accept if you happen to have to cut anything electrical...
