    I ran it for a month on a sporterized mauser just to see if it made a difference. It didn't, it actually wore faster then regular h-series. after a month I re coated everything in armor black h-series and it held up great.

    No, you would have to buy the bottom metal and have it inletted, by the time you pay for the stock, bottom metal, and the inletting your not to far away from the affordable chassis out in the market.

    I had the same issues with the non adjustable tactical stock. It was on my savage 300wm, I didn't even get a 100 rounds out of it. Midway refunded me and I just saved and ordered an XLR evolution, best decision I've made with this rifle yet.

    I have a Vandenberg custom brake on my Savage 300WM, my brother who usually doesn't shoot anything bigger then .308 loves my 300WM. In fact our last range trip I brought 80 rounds of my 208 amax hand loads and he fired almost 60 rounds.

    I have a centerfeed 110FP in an XLR chassis, I love it. I know a guy on another forum that tried to put the same XLR chassis on his stagerfeed 110, it bolted in but he said it needed 1/2'' milled out of the action before the aics mags could be used.

    Well it's defiantly the rings, a buddy came over and brought a few of his scopes with the rings (Seekins, steel mk4's) attached and they all went on my rail just fine. looks like I got a bad set. I emailed Leupold but I'm not expecting anything out of it since I got them second hand.
