    Re: Scope mount for Colt 6940 Cool, thanks guys. I have another Colt AR with an ARMS 40 rear and it almost seems like the one on the 6940 will need more clearance but I haven't actually put them side by side yet to check, I'll have to do that. Thanks again, mnimrod45

    Scope mount for Colt 6940

    Hey guys, I'm trying to outfit a new Colt 6940 and am going to put a Leupold MK4 1.5-5 30mm on it. I want to make sure I get a mount for it that will clear the factory rear sight on it as I will be leaving the rear sight on it for backup at work but still don't want the scope mounted too...
